I am rarely so impressed by a debut novel. I will probably finish the sequel tonight, but I felt like I had to say something on here before then. I finally see why all those people were recommending it. Blown away by how much I enjoyed this book and the story it tells. I looked at the description of the first book and it did not look like anything special to me as I had read several books with similar summaries in recent months and did not think they were anything special.įast forward to now, when I finally started reading The Traitor Baru Comorant on my kindle a few hours ago and just finished it. Anyways, a few months ago everyone on here seemed to be so excited for a sequel coming out to the book The Traitor Baru Cormorant. Baru herself is a math prodigy, skilled in manipulated finances and systems. I've been a fairly voracious reader for years and am always looking for new books to read as I tend to burn through most recommended series very quickly. 30, follows 2015’s The Traitor Baru Cormorant.
